On Thursday 11th June, the KS2 children went to the Primary Schools’ Tennis Festival in Nottingham. We had the opportunity to participate in a number of tennis activities, before watching a ladies double match. The children were very well behaved in very hot conditions and a good day was had by all.
We were delighted to have been accepted into the Nottingham Schools Tennis Festival 2015 Mini Orange Doubles competition. This took place as part of the Aegon Open international event. It was an amazing opportunity for the children and followed on perfectly from our visit to the tennis the day before. Four children took part, Max, Alfie, Sophia and Maya.
Overall they came an impressive second. They were particularly proud of their medals which were personally signed on the day by Greg Rusedski!
