From September 2015, all children (including those in Years 2 & 6) will follow the National Curriculum (2014) for Mathematics, English, Science and the Foundation subjects which are; Art & Design, Design Technology, Computing (formerly known as ICT), Music, History, Geography and Physical Education. Within the core subjects of English and Mathematics there is an increased national expectation relating to what a child should attain by the end of each school year.
