Sainsbury’s Games Level 2 Tennis Tournament
Potterhanworth took two teams to Cherry Willingham to compete in a mini tennis tournament.
Team1: Ben, Luca, Kizzie and Maya
Team 2: Paddy, Myles, Libby and Stacie
Both teams won all their first round matches, along with North Scarle and Scotter, to progress to the semi-finals. We waited eagerly for the draw to then find both Potter teams had been drawn against each other. Potter B put up a fantastic fight, but was pipped at the post by Potter A, who won all their matches. Potter A then went onto play Scotter in the final. There were some great matches and all agreed a draw was a fair result! Both Scotter and Potter A now progress to the County Finals (Sainsbury’s Summer Games) in July. Thank you to Paddy’s mum and Maya’s parents for helping with transport and staying to support us!
