Sainsbury’s Summer Games: County Finals

On Wednesday 8^th July 24 children attended Sainsbury’s Summer Games at Grantham Meres. This was an exciting culmination to a year of sporting participation. As a small school we were delighted to be taking almost 50% of our KS2 to this county competition. On arrival, the children were delighted to receive a Lincolnshire athlete t-shirt to wear and Kizzie and Thomas were also chosen to be relay baton holders and so received an additional t-shirt! The three teams didn’t meet up at all during the course of the day, but were excited to exchange their news on the way home. The tennis team achieved a well-deserved third place and both the tri golf team and the swimming team were awarded the Sainsbury’s Schools values trophy.
