Children in Need

We were absolutely amazed at the fantastic creations in our Children in Need decorated biscuit competition.  Children also came to school in non-uniform, and Key Stage 2 had a sports competition – together, these activities raised over £150.

Primary Science Quality Mark

Mrs Collins attended the National Railway Museum in York to collect our renewal of our Primary Science Quality Mark.  42 schools were represented. Including one from Germany!…

Remembrance Day

Children gathered oppposite the village War Memorial to observe a 2 minute silence at 11 am on Friday 11 November.  Representatives of our Forces families laid a wreath which had been made by the children.
Bikeability

Bikeability

Year 5 and some Year 6 completed Bikeability Training.  They learned how to ride safely on the road, and were given practical advice on maintaining their bikes.

Science Week

Children had a super Science Week involving  lots of exciting scientific experiments. Some classes explored living things and their habitats, enjoying a trip to Bluebell Woods to classify plants.

Virtual Marathon

On Friday 7th October KS2 completed a Virtual Marathon in support of Ben Smith and the 401 marathon challenge! We each walked or ran at least three and a half laps of the football pitch!
