The whole school joined together for their Holy Communion Service which was led by Reverend Lorna Brabin-Smith. The children were also joined by  parents and  school governors.

A number of children helped Reverend Lorna throughout the Service.  The Junior Choir sang ‘I am a small part of the world’ and prayers, put together by Years 3 and 4 during their Religious Education lessons, were read out. Especially popular with the congregation were the songs with actions led by Reverend Lorna!

This was a very moving occasion which not only reflected on the importance of the Holy Communion and Easter to Christians but also offered an opportunity for the whole school to come together before the Easter break. A special ‘thank you’ to Reverend Lorna for leading the Service; this was a very important hour in the life of our school.
