Rounders

On Thursday 6^th July a team of nine year 5 and 6 children went to Branston Community Academy to play in a rounders tournament. This had been postponed earlier in the term due to wet weather; the rearranged date brought quite the opposite! A very warm and still afternoon! We played three games in total, winning two and then losing the last game by half a rounder! The children were disappointed to be so close to winning overall but accepted their second place gracefully! They were an absolute pleasure to take out of school; their behaviour was excellent and they continually supported each other throughout all the games.
